Fun projects

These are some easy and fun projects I have been experimenting with that I wanted to share. If you have questions on how to make them please contact me.

These journals fabulous items for children to keep either as actual journals or just have an organized place for them to color or draw in. I used the black and white composition books for 60 cents at Walmart, then I stamped the vehicle images to make my own "designer" paper and glued them on with a Stampin' Up! glue stick.

These bows are made out of 2 sided designer paper. For instructions check out www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery and then go under the technique tutorial for Paper bows. You can make one bow out of half a sheet of 12x12 paper. It's pretty inexpensive and makes any gift have the homemade touch.

The 4th of July candles we made at club were quite a hit so I thought I would give it a try with the new Christmas stamp set, Snow Swirled (one of my favorites), and the new Red Riding Hood Taffeta ribbon. I purchase the candles, tissue, and wax paper at the dollar store. You can find the tutorial on www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery then under the technique tutorial and then under candles (I think...just search candles and it should show you step by step instructions). These make great holiday gifts for neighbors!!!
