Ribbon balls

This is a great and inexpensive decoration anyone can make. I plan to use a different bowl and different colored ribbon balls for each holiday/season. See the "ingredients" to this project below.



Ingredients:
1 glass pumpkin
2- 3 inch styrofoam balls
3- 2.5 inch styrofoam balls
4- 2 inch styrofoam balls
36 yards of ribbon (plus more to tie bow around stem of pumpkin)
9 sewing pins
9 pearls from Stampin' Up!'s pretties kit

Ribbon: if you use 1/4" grosgrain ribbon you will need
3 inch ball- 6 yards
2.5" ball- 4 yards
2" ball- 3 yards
